A little bit about me...

I am the founder of Karon Lee Consultancy. I am passionate about my work as it is in my nature and personality to want to help people. I too have experienced difficulties within my life and had the benefit of counselling which led me to become a registered, qualified British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Counsellor. I also have enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) for working with children and adults.

My background is I have always worked in a supportive role, promoting independence for adults and children within education, community youth work, social work, social prescribing within the NHS, mental health, voluntary services, mentoring and counselling.

I have my own private practice, work as a counsellor for Mind Recovery & Wellbeing Centre and provide a wellbeing programme to a Kent Primary and Senior Academy.

I am a registered, qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework. I receive regular supervision to enhance my working practice ensuring I work safely and ethically.
