WELCOME
Welcome to our website.
All of us at some point in our lives will experience times when we feel that we are overwhelmed or unable to cope. Feelings such as anger, grief, anxiety, depression and loneliness can be upsetting and painful to us. Counselling can help to explore and reflect upon these feelings restoring emotional wellbeing. I can provide you with emotional and social support in a caring and supportive environment to enable you to make the changes you want in your life.
Talking and sharing your feelings is a necessary part of therapy, which might seem strange at first, but can leave you feeling listened to, less alone and accepted for who you are, and help in understanding what is making you feel a certain way.
It takes courage to take that first step I know, having been through counselling myself.

HOW I WORK
Every person is unique, so I will work with you, listening carefully and paying attention to the things that matter to you, gaining a clearer understanding of your feelings. For you to be able to share how you truly feel in confidence without judgement, criticism or unwanted advice. I will work with you in a warm, respectful manner in understanding your experience from your point of view and most importantly creating a trusting relationship.
I am flexible and use techniques from more than one counselling method and approach.
